Northern Powergrid are due to start the excavation works on Turners Croft on the 31st March 2025 following up the cable jointing work with completion of the Scheme by the Easter Break.

 

Northern Powergrid will be starting their work from the footpath end of the scheme and progress up Turners Croft.

 

The Majority of the work being completed will take place on the footpaths and the contractors will provide a walkway and access to cars and the public during the duration of this work.

 

Residents affected by this work will receive a letter from the contractors prior to the work being started.

 

Access to garages will only be affected whilst contractors excavate across the entrances in the footway. At the close of play each day excavation will either be reinstated or temporary road plates placed over the trench for vehicular access to garages.
